What is the difference between 22K and 24K gold?
24K is nearly pure gold (99.9%) and is used for coins and bars. 22K (91.6%) is mixed with other metals so it is strong enough for jewellery.
When does the rate on this page update?

Does the rate include making charges and GST?
The per-gram rate excludes making charges. Jewellery attracts 3% GST on the gold value and a separate GST on making charges. Use the calculator above for an estimate.
