Why convert PNG to ICO?
A favicon is the tiny icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. A multi-size ICO file lets browsers pick the sharpest size for each place it is used. Start with a square logo of at least 256 by 256 pixels for the cleanest result.
Non-square images are centred inside a square canvas so your logo is not stretched. For Blogger, upload the favicon in Settings, under Basic, then Favicon.
