Two simple habits to be in discipline.

I will tell you two simple things that have worked for me in terms of maintaining the discipline.

Until last month August 2024, I was procrastinating for the exercise, meditation and maintaining a to-do list. Then came the day when I started reading the book Atomic Habits and started the practice of maintaining simple habits of reading 10 pages at least every day, writing down the tasks on paper, and doing two pushups daily.

After a week, all these habits turned into a full-time habit daily and 10 pages turned into 20 or 30 pages a day, two pushups became 10 pushups set, and writing down tasks became a proper to-do list for the day.

So, these two things have worked for me and I hope will work for you as well.

1. Just start with a small number of tasks for the day, strictly write down on a piece of paper or sticky notes and keep it in front of you where you work or study or whatever you do. it should be visible to your eyes.

2. Sit for 5 minutes and analyse the tasks you have written and keep them in sequence in your mind, e.g. Reading 5 pages of the book would be the first task and then meditating for 5 minutes will give time to your brain to recall everything you have read in the book and it will help in strengthening the memory power and recall power, then work out. Currently, I am following this sequence of habits.
