Yoga vs Meditation

Meditation calms the mind and helps see peace inside whereas yoga helps in body flexibility and blood circulation.

Both are very helpful for the mind and body as I follow exercise or yoga after meditation which helps in carefully observing the steps while doing yoga, which reduces the chance of muscle displacement or unwanted pain.

But to see immediate and clear results of meditation, yoga is a must as it helps in lowering anxiety and running thoughts. When your mind has less or no running thoughts the meditation works very well and makes you feel calm immediately and keeps the body relaxed.

Yoga helps the mind and body be active and alert whereas meditation pushes a step further and helps in thinking better, right decision making and taking action in a calculated way to reduce or avoid risks.
