Bihar
is the one of the few states in India where parents can sell their
land, house, ornaments and what not to ensure their child’s proper
education.
The teenagers are told that
education is the only way to secure a good future. Kids who are not good
in academics are self convinced that they will do petty jobs for their
livelihood. Earning money by driving a three wheeler or working in mines
to support their child’s education is happily accepted.
This
is the only state where elderly are respected like ones own parents.
They don’t write in buses “reserved for senior citizens”, because they
are usually offered a seat by a fellow passenger.
Bihar has least farmer suicide rate because they will work their ass to meet the money lenders.
