What is a Computer ?

A computer is an electronic data processing device which accepts and stores data input given by the user, processes the given data input, and generates the output in a required format for the user.

its Advantages:-

1. High Speed:  Computers can perform tasks at very high speed.
2. Accuracy:  computers are very accurate with the results.
3. Storage Capability:  computers are capable of storing data in a large number.
4. Versatility:   computers can be used to solve problems in various fields.
5. Reliability:   computers are designed to make maintenance easy. 
6. Reduction in Paper Work:  As data in electronic files can be retrieved as and when required, the problem of maintenance of a large number of paper files gets reduced.

its Disadvantages:- 

1. Dependency:  It functions are as per a user’s instruction, so it is fully dependent on the human being.

    2.Environment:  The operating environment of the computer should be dust free and suitable.

    3. No Feeling:  Computers have no feelings or emotions.

    4. Health Issues: user of the computer can be harmed because of heavy uses.

    5. The spread of violence and hatred:  An user can misuse the information and can manipulate others by providing wrong information.

    6. Online cyber crimes: It has increased due to the computer and its misuses.
