One of the reasons we don't have self-discipline is because we run from the hard, uncomfortable things. We would relatively do the easy, familiar things. So instead of facing our hard, uncomfortable works, we run to distractions, videos, games. This running from discomfort is ruining our lives.
These are the qualities of a disciplined person, which we can work on:
· Disciplined people are true to their word, if they said something to do, they will do it by going beyond and that brings impact on others.
· Avoiding Temptation, they have lots of patience towards the work and their goal.
· They Take Care of Themselves, it is very necessary to take care of oneself and be healthy.
· They Work at Developing Habits, if they find out they lack at something which is important then they are always ready to adapt the change for the future.
· They Set Boundaries, and they are fully aware of their limits to their desires.
· Disciplined people Lead with Their Mind Over Their Mood, because every next moment mood changes so they cannot be reliable.
· They are aware of their Goals and the point where they have to reach by working every day.
Self-discipline is the ability, by which you have to control and motivate yourself to stay on track and do what is right. An example of self-discipline is when you make sure you get up an hour early before work each day to get to do meditation and some exercises.
Notwithstanding what many may think, self-discipline is a learned behavior. It requires repetition and recurrence in your day-to-day life.
Self-control is often coolest when abiding by the old saying, “out of sight, out of mind.” Removing all attractions and distractions from your environment is a crucial first step when working to expand your self-discipline.
