How to keep your emotions in your hands and be who you actually are…

Your emotions play a significant part in your reactions. When you’re in tune with them, you have access to important knowledge that helps you do things in a prime way. 



Although emotions can have a cooperative role in your daily life, they can take a toll on your emotional health and interpersonal relationships when they start to feel out of control. It’s a fact that having good emotional directive skills is linked to well-being.

You must have some time to take routine of just how your unrestrained emotions are upsetting your day-to-day life. This will make it easier to detect problem areas and then keep a track on them so you could work on it on daily basis.

You can use different ways and skills to practice accepting emotions, try thinking of your emotions as messengers. Do not try to identify them as they’re not “good” or “bad.” They’re unbiassed. Maybe they bring up disagreeable feelings sometimes, but they’re still giving you significant evidence that you can use and make things organized in a better way.

Writing down on a paper or in your personal diary about your feelings and the responses they activate can help you expose any troublesome patterns.

Sometimes, when you are sitting alone with yourself it’s enough to mentally touch emotions back through your thoughts. Putting feelings onto paper can allow you to reflect on them more deeply, in both ways you can find out the better ways to handle things in ore gentle way.

Try and see through this, breathe in slowly. Deep breaths come from the diaphragm, not the chest. It may help to visualize your breath rising from deep in your belly.

Hold it. Hold your breath for a count of three, then let it out slowly. It’ll definitely make you understand the power of our breathing pattern and then you would be able to keep yourself calm in no matter whatever situation you are in.

Though you don’t want to block or avoid feelings completely, it’s not harmful to distract yourself until you’re in a better place to deal with them. Just make sure you do come back to them. In the pink interruptions are only momentary.
