So far riding has been an experience that taught me lessons I could not have learnt without traveling alone.
I am not sure whether it is normal to cover a distance of 7-800kms in a day (12 hours) But I have done it a few times and yes I must admit it is quite exhausting but it is fun to keep riding on roads where fewer vehicles are running and sometimes you are the only one who is on the road for 100s of kms...
In this blog, I will share a few important lessons that will benefit both solo riders and group riders.
1. Avoid overspeeding: I know you have been told this many times, but it is important because while riding on highways, you can be careful and take care of yourself, but what about other vehicles? They are not in your control; hence, you need to be aware of your surroundings.
2. Take breaks: Every break is important after each 90-100 km because it relaxes your body and brain to be in control and be present while you drive the bike.
3. Carry water and keep yourself hydrated: If you do not drink water occasionally, your brain and body might go numb for a while, which can lead to serious damage.
4. If you are riding through dark nights, then aux lights are a must, no motorbikes have enough stock lights. and on highways trucks and buses have various kinds of lights that create problems for cars and bikes to see clearly at night.
If you have any suggestions let me know...
