We often feel completely dazed with the amount of work we have got to do for the day or for the week. Sometimes we even forget to do things that are important in our day-to-day shift. When we have to chase ourselves to get things done on time without being distracted and wasting our time on something useless, a to-do list helps to keep things in order.
We often find it a struggle to keep to deadlines of the work we have started and without a time limit we keep on shifting for the later, which brings chaos and makes us feel pitiful when we are not able to finish it on time.
Basically, they’re organized in order of importance. Usually,
they’re written on a piece of paper or post it notes and acts as a memory assistance.
As technology has progressed, we have been able to create a to-do lists with
excel spreadsheets, word documents, email lists, to-do list apps, Microsoft to-do
and google to-do list to name a few. You can use a to do list in your home and
personal life, or in the workplace, it helps to keep on reminding about the
tasks we have to work on and get it done on time so we can move for other tasks
and be enthusiastic towards it.
To-do lists are a great motivational tool because you
can use them to elucidate your goals. You can divide your long-term goal into
smaller, more reachable short-term goals and as you tick each one off your list
after getting each task done, your sureness will increase towards your final
goal.
A to do list lets you to arrange the tasks that are
more significant. This means you don’t waste time on tasks that don’t require
your instant consideration. Your list will help you stay focused on the tasks
that are the most important, so you better finish it before time and keep going
