Let me share my own exercise which I follow on daily basis sit still and notice your breath, that’s where it often starts. Don't control it just feel it come and go. Let your thoughts rise and fall like waves; don’t chase them, don’t push them away. If judgment sneaks in, that’s okay. Acknowledge it and bring your attention back.
Try walking without a destination in mind. Pay attention to the ground under your feet, the sound of leaves moving, and how the air feels on your skin. Just be there, step by step, letting the moment speak to you.
When you eat, slow down. Notice the flavours, the textures, and the way food nourishes you. No scrolling, no rushing, just you and what’s on your plate.
And when emotions hit hard, anger, joy, frustration, pause. Name what you feel without attaching a story. This is anger, or this is happiness. No, because. Let it be what it is.
Even small acts, like brushing your teeth or doing the dishes, are opportunities. Be present in the way the brush moves or how water feels on your hands. Simple, everyday awareness grows when you choose to notice the ordinary without labelling it as good or bad.
