What mindset do I use to be calmer in life?

Whenever I feel restless or stressed, I follow these steps to make myself calm and relaxed. Take a deep breath. Hold it for a moment, and then exhale. Feel more relaxed? Breathing exercises are one way to relax. Here you will learn about different ways to relax your mind and body no matter in whatever condition you are. Being relaxed can help ease stress and agitated feeling. It can also relieve anxiety, depression, and sleep problems in day-to-day life which can cause serious problems so better it is cured before it has deep effects on our life. 



We need to practice mindful meditation every day to get rid of unwanted and useless habits and thoughts. The goal of mindful meditation is to try and focus your attention on things that are happening right now in the present moment. For example, listen to your body. Is your breathing fast, slow, deep, or light? The idea is just to observe things and people and not trying to change anything.

Leave the situation as it is, if nothing seems to be in control because you have no control on the situation in anyway, look in another direction, walk out of the room, or go outside observe the sky and think about existing unlimited possibilities. There is always a way to out only thing we need to do is take one extra step out of typical stereotypes environment and society.

If you’re too angry or anxious or not in a condition to talk about it, grab a journal and write out your thoughts. Don’t worry about complete sentences or punctuation or explanation, just write. Writing helps you get negative thoughts out of your head and makes your head clear from unsolicited thoughts. Walking has always been helpful for me; it gives me an exposure to the outer world and makes me think how far they are from what I feel and think about them. Let’s live like there is no tomorrow, all we have is today and now.
